How does mom and pop like the headlights I did??

And wait for those wheels, they are great! It's only 2 months, lol.

I don't think my parental's quite agree with the amount I spend on my car (because it's about 2-3 times more expensive than the equivalent parts in the US), but I have managed to get a "nice car" out of dad! thanks again simon, I seem to get nothing but compliments about the headlights! theyre beautiful!

i'm still thinking about whether I should go for a matte black rim (like the rohana rc10's), oa dolphin gray rim (like the avant garde m368).

what do you think?

Haha. Yes, the older generation will always chide us on how we spend money on toys. Then again, it is a very different world today.

Nice car is a great compliment! I don't get that out of my old man, lol.

I personally like the Rohana RC10 more than the AG M368. Like a lot more, hahaha.

They'll never be happy hey!

I had a look at a used OEM set of 18" MV2 MSport wheels that have been sprayed matte black (to match my window trims) / Bridgestone Runflat for $900 today, thought it was a good buy considering the current Australian Pricing. The equivalent Rohana RC10's are working out to be about 3.5k (inclusive of tyres), and I figured I could put that saving into a decent sound system!

If I end up getting a set of matte black wheels, I will be looking at tinting in the very near future (5% rear passenger windows,15% front passenger windows and 15% rear windshield)

What do you think?

goodbye ugly chrome door trims!

I initially tried pastidipping the trims (and wasted about 2-3 cans), but noticed that they started to peel within a week (with the wind). I ended up taking it to my indy body shop to have them sprayed (along with the faded matte black side mirror trim) and I must say, they are quite beautiful! I'm so glad the chrome trims are gone!

ps: does the fitment of my body kit seem a little off? is there a way of fixing it up?

As far as wheels go though, I would recommend 19s if no dish. The 18s just look small due to the wheel well to me.

I think you're right. I've managed to back out of the wheels, and now I'm starting to think a matte anthracite colour is a better suit to my car. If only the rohana rc10's came in that colour, i'd be all over them!

EDIT: I've now got my eyes on a staggered set of Vossen CV1's in a Matte Graphite with a gloss graphite lip. It's going to burn a big hole in my pocket though ;(
EDIT2: Changed my mind on the Vossens, not a fan of them anymore
