Blackprince, If you feel they are not legitimate, then contact U. S. Customs. All products entering the commerce of the U.S. must be entered with customs, by a Customs House Broker, customs duties paid and inspected by Customs... Again if you feel they are bogus, get the big dogs on them!

Well I can confirm this easily. What was the address of the supposed restaurant. I'll be in SF on Sun for my brothers veterans graduation commencement ceremony from SFSU. I can swing by to see what you are talking about. Also when you look up the info for CTSC it shows they are registered to do business out of Camarillo, CA, which is where my package came from. Give me the address or cross streets or even the restaurants name. Should be easy to find since I grew up in SF Chinatown.

The solenoids that I ordered from The CTSC were drop-shipped from a ZF distribution warehouse located in Vernon Hills, IL, USA. They are selling genuine parts, and ZF wouldn't let them stay in business otherwise. If you have proof of them shipping counterfeit or "grey market" parts then show it, otherwise, move along, Mr. less than 25 posts.

"operating out of a Chinese Restaurant Basement in China Town" - this just sounds like B grade movie plot.

Lots of people seem to buy their stuff. If there were issues I would have thought they would have popped up by now.

They only do email to keep their overheard down. I'm guessing the reason they took 4 days to answer his emails were because they don't have time to argue with him about Mercon SP being the same as ZF

ZF LIFEGUARD is a repackage product from China. As a matter of fact all of The CTSC products and kits are made and imported from China. While this is good in terms of prices, compared to the original stuff from the dealerships, it is also good to know that what we are buying isn’t genuine, and we shouldn't buy thinking it is made in Germany. I like the fact that I can find a gray market product which work, but I wish these businesses would state on their website where the products came from, at least they owed that to us. But then again you buy at your own risk.

Are you sure you weren't in the basement of a Chinese restaurant smoking something you shouldn't have been?

What proof do you have that it was in fact The California Transmission Supply Company operating out of this basement in China Town?
