...I wanted to have a 1series diesel for the city driving. But now I HAVE to drive my 545i.
...oh what a terrible thought, driving the car you luv everywhere!!!!

i still dont understand the point though of the 2 cars when one is not a dedicated sports car, we have great cars, but there not ferrari's or anything that we need to worry about driving and looking at the odometer

...just get on out and drive your first choice on your driveway!

yea but if u drive a lot and put a ton of miles on the car you lose so much. For those of u who bought new especially, you already have lost the most. 545i is a rare car, even harder to find a used one, trust me, took me forever to find a fully loaded 545i with low miles.

If you plan to keep your car awhile then putting as little as much as possible miles in your best choice. 5 years from now when you sell that 05 and only have 40k on it, everyone and there mom will be all over it.

A daily driver is a good choice if you really care about your car and keeping it as nice as possible and problem free. U know those cars u find and are like 10 yrs old but low milleage and great shape, its people like me who keep their cars clean and perfect. if u have the means get a daily driver, something old, problem free, good gas, looks good, reliable and safe. Like my e320 =) C'mon someone buy it!!!!

This will definitely be my daily driver... although my husband has a truck and we use that on the weekends.. we have discussed getting a Mini S though.. those seem like really fun cars.

if u want a really cool "grocery getter" a mini cooper S, with the Stage 3 john cooper attatchments is the best car... the stage 3 includes a bigger turbo and upgraded exhaust system.... with this upgrade, u have created a tiny little terror on 4 wheels , i have one and i pushed it to about 150mph(of course driving like that will drink up ur gass, but around city the power is very peppy, and with good milege...) Do not underestimate the power of the new mini coopers.... ive had 350z and m3s trying to beat me on the freeway...... they cant even touch me....

I too have a MINI Cooper S Works. I have it in addition to a 530iT.

How many other owners of E60/E61s have MINIs?

I just put some pics if anyones interested. Great bang for the buck, i'd buy it if i were you
Nope, I drive the BMW every day... I bought it for that very reason - I intend to drive the crap out of it and then get another one (I'm not too worried that BMW will stop making them before I use this one up!). Driving is for *my* pleasure...
