OK guys - see what interesting pics you can get from your fuel computers....

This was on the M4 motorway (freeway) this evening with the cruis on 59mph in traffic in my 535d.

I've just averaged 40mpg over almost 1,000 miles on holiday... This was really mixed driving including motorway stints at 60-85mph, town crawling and B-road blasts

I am doing 8.7l / 100 km with more city driving as highway driving. 15000km's so far

Not that I'd ever drive fast of course .....see lower post 'speeding'

Didn't Clarkson get it down to about 12mpg around the track and still praised that consumption (I think the Evo FQ400 was about 4mpg...)

If you reset it while cruising in neutral at like 70mph, you'll be at 99 mpg for a little bit, doesnt go above that.

We need a standard for measuring this sort of thing... I (and most of the UK) still think in miles per gallon... Metrification never fully succeeded over here! I think the States still uses mpg but their gallon is different to 'ours', doh!
