Oh wow haha I'm sure it's gonna easily make it to 300k, but have you ever experienced this kind of issue with the battery? what about a slightly lower rpm(500) shouldn't it be at 600?

i had to use premium because i had a ss my repairs are not as much on what a bmw is but i spent 6000 on repairing it and i only drove it 15000 miles when i bought it with 85k so it would probrally be alot less than that

SORRY, JUST GUESSING, haven't had to do it yet......last one i did was on my bike and it was $50,, i didnt think even BMW would be more expensive than synthetic Harley Oil

No, but the BMW N62 does use about 8.5 quarts of the stuff. Even if you could find it at a magical price of $6.50/quart, you'd still be in the hole for $55. Add in a filter (lets just say $10), and a DIY oil change for most folks would be a minimum of $65 at bargin basement prices.

SS is not even comparable, go drive one and see if you like it! I've put 70k on my 525i and its been reliable as hell, and a great car.
