That 545i can be repaired, but the cost would be high .
Would you buy it?

Depends on the price and who would repair it.
If he has an insurance on it and a good artisan at the bodyshop, the car can be repaired, replacing many parts.

In last days, I saw some Ferraris that began from the windshield that in 2 months will be on the road again .

Hey!!!

I saw this story on my local news!!! They were more concerned with the condition and result of the other vehicle (on it's side), but of the quick view they showed, I knew it was an e60.

If I'm not mistaken, there was dash-cam video of this. I'll try to find it.

Glad everyone is okay.

ps... here it is

My take on the Video was the pick-up truck hit the BMW and then proceeded to run out of control at high speed to roll over and crash into the house. Clearly there is little the BMW driver could have done and it seems that driver's speed was very slow and it remained crashed in the intersection where it had been struck.

I had a very similar incident on January 20 1983 when a young inexperienced driver blew a stop sign and ripped through the front end of my car. The other driver (large old Chevrolet Impala) continued on for more than 200 yards and ended up in the middle of a farm field.

My car, a Mercury Zepher 4cyl 4spd, was spun like a top in the middle of the intersection and came to rest within 20 feet of where I was struck.

The other driver claimed he stopped at the stop sign, didn't see me (it was 7:00PM ET and dark) and proceeded slowly into the intersection where I HIT HIM! RIGHT!!! He received a stop street violation.

It took 5 years for my civil claim to get thru the courts - I was seriously injured [seat belts but no airbags back then]. In the interim this guy graduates from the US Naval Academy and holds to his story. I guess the advanced engineering courses at the Academy weren't much use to him. The photo's taken of the accident scene and the cars, and the testimony of witnesses made the judge and jury shake their head about the claims he and his lawyer were making.

Jury found my testimony credible and ultimately awarded damages to me.

I think the (now a Naval officer) is off doing something where his stupidity won't harm too many people. I felt annoyed that my taxes paid for his education!

The video brought a cold chill and flash back to that night in January 25 years ago! Situation seem quite similar.

And why the car is on the road and not in the garden near the house ?
Most of all, the car in the video is on the ground, not lifted
Video & pics:
E60 on the ground (street)
F150 in the garden
