Hello:
I believe that kigerka was going to try and remove the yellow stickers on the sun visors. Does anyone have an update on that attempt? I find them distasteful and would like to remove them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just got back from Holiday and will probably have to do it this weekend. I hope to do this before then but if you are patient you will have an answer by this weekend.

I removed them! I tried a hairdryer first. Way too slow. Went for nail polish remover. It took it off quick but there is stilla little residue there. I will take some more time this weekend and get it off. I was told Goo Be Gone works well for the residue.

I have opted to leave mine. I have never hauled a kid in the front and don't expect to, but in case somebody else ever uses my car (heaven forbid), I would like the warning to be there.

I wonder if you can specifically order them not to be installed in the first place. Too late for mine (produced, awaiting shipment), but may be helpful for future owners.

Guess the answer would depend on:

1. Whether legal regulation applies to standard equipment, overridable by customer preference
2. Whether BMWNA legal dept is comfortable with releasing a car without the disclaimers/warnings
3. Nothwithstanding above, whether factory would accomodate a request like that

Anyone know the answer? Also, would love to see pictures of the "clean" visors!

I'm pretty sure they will NEVER EVER deliver a US spec car without warning stickers. Even if you sign a disclaimer. It's just too much work for them to handle someones car different.
