YELLOW OR ORANGE HEAD?

My Ride: 525d se, Black, HID lights, Beam washers, electrical seats, steering conrols, automatic light, Automatic wipers. RFTyres,
SAT-NAV,
Can somebody clarify this please.
The yellow diag head is for cable diagnostics ?
The Orange Diag head is for Fiber optic diagnostics?
Is this correct?
Now E60 ALL YEARS? Works with Yellow Diag head or Orange Diag head?
I am confused. I am asking because the car has a CD changer which has fiber optic cables.
I am interested to get the Diagnostics but I do not know exactly what I need. Some say yellow some say orange. I read that from E65, the diagnostics are orange and fiber optic.
