Yellow airbag light (Seatbelt error - iDrive) after standard seat swap for sport seat
I just finished switching the standard seats on my E60 with OEM sport seats and I’m now getting a seatbelt error code on the iDrive. I did disconnect the battery before removing the seat and connected the new seat before reconnecting the battery. Anyone know why this is happening? Could it be that I have to switch over the original seat buckles onto the new seats?

Your seats could of come out of a newer model than yours and doesn't have the passenger occupancy sensor fitted in the seat, this can be coded out using NCSExpert via the airbag module
