I have the daytime running lights enabled which lights the halo rings and the inside headlight, but I do not like the yellowish lights of the headlight compared to Xenon. Actually would perfer the Halo rings only as daytime lights. I leave lights in auto mode. If I disconnect the headlight lamps, as they are only used as Daytime running lights, I'm guessing the car will sense it as a fault. Any ideas.
If not what bulb number is it and what is the Xenon replacement bulb, anyone do it yet?

The inside headlight is also used for flashing (signal stalk pulled towards you). So personally I wouldn't disconnect the headlight lamp.

Can't really say how it works as we don't have the daytime running light enabled here in the UK.

Maybe the better solution is to simply have your dealer turn off the DRLs?

I agree have the DRL's turned off and then one click and you'll have angel eyes only (which is what you stated that you wanted during the day)

I have DRL turned on, but I only have the inside passing lights lit, not the angel eyes. Are the angel eyes supposed to be on with DRL? Seems like when I had dealer turn on DRLs, I had angel eyes, and then on one of the subsequent software updates, they went away. I'm never sure if I don't have something because it doesn't work, it's not supposed to work, or the software is buggy!!

My angle eyes are on with the DRL. I just bought and installed the Sylvania Silverstar H7 bulbs, so at least they wont be so yellowish looking. I put Xenon 921 bulbs in my reverse lights yesterday. So they look whiter as well.
I will make an appointment with my dentist, because now my teeth look yellow to get them whitened.

No, I replaced the inner headlight (the outer is the HID) and the angel eyes surrounds both. I did the install: pop hood, locate where the bulb is (just look on the outside and follow in through), twist the dust cover off, turn the tab that holds the bulb, pull socket and bulb out, CAUTION when replacing new bulb do not touch with your naked hand us a clean dry napkin or something not to leave any residue on the bulb. reverse the procedure. You're done.
