When my car was in service, I was given a loaner that had the xenon adaptive lights and I immediately fell in love with them. I am annoyed for not getting that option. Can any of you tell me how hard it would be to get those installed now and what would be the cost? TIA

It is definitely possible and I don't think too hard - I have seen "retrofit adaptive headlights" in one of the catalogue listings posted earlier. I am not certain whether it would cost you and arm-and-a-leg or just an arm but it is no doubt expensive if you get BMW to do it.
