OK here is the WTF moment for me. So I got the warning that my bulb on my driver side AE went out so since the car has full warranty I didn't want to mess with it so I popped into the dealership. Mind you My AE are factory and has the egg yoke color.

The advisor comes out and says "bad news" your car has the old software for the light module and We have to reporgam it and replace all 4 bulbs per BMW EÇO. Hmmmm I said sounds kind wierd but go for it. Long story short, got the car back and didnt pay too much attention to it, came back home and pulled into my garage and I noticed this white light instead of the yoke light. Intially I thought my headlights were on but after further inspection it was my AE which now has a bright white glow and look like the F10 colors.

Am I the only one who seen this or this is just something they are holding back on? I just find it incredibly interesting, dammit now my fogs don't match, oh well fogs are much easier to match I guess,lol.

damn, if only this was a pre-lci related AE topic, I would want to know myself.

 

Same here, except CPO doesn't cover it and they wanted to charge me over $400 to replace bulbs and reprogram. I thought that was a little ridiculous so got the Trinity 6W on order so hoping problem solved.

Evolution, was it you who recently installed the LCI shifter? If it is you, any new progress on shortening the stock? Just want to know how it looks shorter.
