Hello Rutto,
At least that pic tells theres's no color mach.
It seems be to that BMW have forgotten all about their wooden lines.
Read my case here.

If it qualifies as a "defect in manufacturing and workmanship" it's clearly covered under warranty. End of story.

I have the same issue with my '08 535i.
I ordered light poplar trim, and there is a definite mismatch between the dash and doors vs. the console. My CA agreed there was a problem with my car, but offered no solution.
This is really not acceptable in a $60,000 car.
I've had several previous cars with real wood trim. This is the only car that did not match.
How would BMW fix the problem? Would they send a completely new wood package for the car, or just replace the console wood? If they just replace the console wood, how would they match the existing wood that is already on the dash and doors? Will it come loose or rattle after the fix?????

So it is and will be done, also in a ?70,000 EU car!
But not without a fight, I'm afraid.

Hi People,
Yesterday I collected my new 530d touring LCI... but I have one doubt...
It looks like there are two different wooden trims inside, the colour of the upper part and doors doesn't match with the gear and lower part... what do you think? I would like to complain about it...

Yes, you have a reason to complain about this, they should most certainly replace to match. However, my only concern would be that once they start taking things apart you may develop a rattle or creak. Tell them to take extra care to fit everything back tight. Good luck mate.
But the front trim replacement (just the upper part), should not involve major works on the dashboard.
By the way, yesterady I went to the dealer and they agreed about the problem, they are going to contact a BMW inspector, but I'm pretty sure everything will be solved without problems.

You should definitely say something. Even if you had a $20k car you should still say something. It's a very easy switch for the dealer to do.

The dealer has just called me... everything seems to be ok, I will go there to check which parts have to be changed. Besides I've discovered that the shark finn is scretched...
