Yeah, they are!

The board is monitored by atleast two or three of the SA's there that I know of along with many other boards they check into. They just know their stuff. Maybe because it's generally a younger crowd in the service department who understand these cars more. They're all real enthusiasts, not just employees. It's a great combo!

Ironically enough I was just there yesterday. I blew out my two driver side tires, front and rear after hitting some potholes in a dark underpass. I got roadside assistance to tow me to JMK (roadside was there in under 30 min, amazing). Since I had only one space saver I was able to get another wheel from JMK which allowed me to get home and replace the two flat wheels with my winter wheels until the new tires come in on Monday. That area of road is well known to be bad because of the darkness, even during the day, and it always floods during any rain storm so potholes form quickly. I drive through it, slowing down, several times per week but this time I got whacked. I'm fighting the city/county/state or whoever is in charge of the road (Route 22 West by Newark/Hillside). It's ridiculous.
Lomag - Do you know any good body shops who can drill holes in my fenders? So i could install M5 Side Grills (w/o M5 sticker offcourse)? I asked couple and they said they cannot do it, too complicated itseems

Did you actually get them to replace rusty rotors? I've had no luck with this. I've been using Flemington BMW for service and I've been quite pleased except they would only change my pads and not replace my rusty rotors. IMO if you have my calipers off and the rotors exposed at least give me the opportunity to buy some new damn rotors so you don't have the pay for the service twice. Maybe I'll try JMK for my next round...
If you are talking about rust on the inner part of the rotors you are expecting the impossible. Even Porsche rotors rust and will. This is not a fixable problem.

Yah this is a v.known problem (supposively not a issue) .. since I got mine replaced luckily, I have to paint them soon... not sure where to take it to though, to get rotors painted so they dont rust

The rotors on my e39 and e53 never rusted in almost 3x as many miles as I have on my e60 and in identical conditions.

The OP states he got JMK to replace his rotors so I'm wondering what exactly was wrong with them to be replaced. From his post, the only problem it sounds like was rust since rotor wear should be acceptable at the first brake pad change and squeeling more then likely is not the fault of the rotor.

Was it really just luck that JMK replaced them?

maybe I should check out JMK for my AUX in issue.. too bad it's not a warranty case and I already paid Denville BMW to do the install. Those guys had me there 4 times for the same stupid issue, and they still haven't fixed it..

On a positive note,
Denville BMW loans out BMW's instead of the crappy pontiacs you get with enterprise. Anyone know if Jacob (SA) is still there?
