Google "Error on setting ECU-Address". I'm guessing your issue is probably the same as a few of the top search results.

The problem is, many things can cause Error 106 on setting ECU address. All the other posts I've been able to find do not have the same 7006 codes or descriptions for the failure. I'm thinking something to do with my Ediabas folders, driver for k/dcan (although ista/inpa work fine), com ports. If I knew what file to look for in Ediabas I would. I tried ports 3 and 9 only because of the -0003 and -0009 mentions, back on port 1 now. Those didn't effect error codes, same each attempt. It says 32bit on winkfp header, I'm using windows10 64bit. I thought there was a compatibility fix in the setup files though. I'm lost.
