WINDSHIELD CRACKED WITH NO IMPACT

When I returned the car my original sales rep brought the service manager along to look at the cracks. The service manager said it looks like an impact but I absolutely denied it. I saw how it happened - the car was in my garage and the crack happened when I was playing with the rearview mirror. I asked the service manager whether he could claim it under the new car warranty (the car is a demo). He said he could try but the manufacturer probably won't accept it because they watch the dealers very closely. After he walked away my sales rep said don't worry, they would look after that. I told him if there is any problem please call me (they have my credit card number!)
I will wait to see if he calls on Monday!

hey all, the dealership replaced my windshield under warranty, thanks for all the advice...GO PACIFIC BMW!!! in glendale CA, they have always treated me well..go see Hassan in service ...he's the best...and Terry is the GM....
