Windscreen Wipers
Anyone else had problems with their windscreen wipers? Mine stopped working completely this morning. Managed to get it in to a BMW dealer who spent 2hrs looking at it and then decided it was the wiper switch. Didn't have one in stock but have ordered one to be fitted tomorrow.
Apparently it's going to take them half an hour to fit the switch and 3-4 hours to re-program the on board computer
Need to get this sorted as I'm off to France for a week tomorrow night and was looking forward to cruising the French autoroutes in the 535d

No....Not heard of that, don't believe it's common!! 3-4 hours to re-prog...? Does everything need a re-prog....? Have a good trip to France.....Hope it doesn't rain!!!
All sorted now. Wiper switch replaced and back to normal. The dealer even washed and vacuumed the car and oiled the tyres. On to France in it tonight now it's fixed - I was worried I may have to take the wife's mondeo but luckily it'll be in the beemer
