I am looking to tint my 545i with ceramic tint but can not find a installer who carries it. I live in long island NY. I searched forums and googled it but no results. Please someone give me recommendation for ceramic tint installer who does a computerized cut and professional installation in NY metro area
Thanks
Thanks
My tint guy just trims the tint when he put it on the outside of the window. I've been going to him for tinting on all my cars since 1992 and never had any problem. Just had my front retinted again after taking removing it to get the fixed-it ticket signed off. Damn CHP.

there are a lot of tint places that will guarantee their work now with standard tinting. you might consider this as ceramic will cost you quite a bit more. i could recommend someone out here in LA but that won't do ya much good. good luck with it.
Ceramic tint is definitely worth it if you're looking to keep your car cooler. If it's just for looks.. they all work pretty well. Metallic is the old standard and cheapest with the Carbon and Ceramic tint both being more expensive. I think Carbon and Ceramic claim to not interfere with electronics, however, I've never heard substantiated claims of someone not being able to use their phone or other device in their car because of it.
+1

Hahah CHP was messing with me as well about my tint but as the cop was writing the ticket there was a fender bender on the other side of the median. He said "I'll catch you later" and took off to the accident scene. I'm sure sooner or later he'll catch up with me again, not to many white 5's in my area.
