I work on a military installation, thus I must get a window sticker. With the wiper sensor behind the mirror, I don't know if its a good idea to install it there (top center of window). I do think the install will "Not" cover the actual sensor itself. It will come close to it though, will that effect its operation? Recommendations?

I am in the military as well. You should be able to put it in the lower left hand corner of your windshield as well. You mayy want to talk to them as you could call it a safety hazard.

At one of the DoD installations I frequent they allow the sticker(s) to be placed in lower left corner of window just for that reason. However, on my 6er the stickers would be far enough above the sensor so as not to interfere. Fortunately, I have avoided any stickers on the 6er by claiming infrequent access requirement, so I cannot comment directly on interference. The other federal installations I work at on a daily basis do not require the car stickers at all.
