With the recent wet weather over here in the UK. The rubber seals around the top of the windows remains quite damp. At times when I open the rear doors the water pours in a few drops on to the seats. Anyone been experiencing this? I thought the rubber seals are supposed to keep the water out and not in.

Anyone experience this as well???

Yes, I have noticed that sometimes in wet weather but mostly if I open the door just after I wash the car. I get more water in the car just from direct rain during the brief period I have the door open and/or drops carried in on my jacket. Never noticed any lasting effects such as staining the leather (mine's black) or anything so it never really bothered me.

Thanks for the reply.
Just an observation that the top rubber seals are damp and doesn't dry up that quickly.

I get exactly the same symptoms:

1) Water on the seats when the doors are opened

2) Signs of slight condensation on the hidden part of the inside top of the window

Irritating and bad design
