window problem

Hey guys, I have a BMW 2005 525i passenger window problem, The switch on the passenger side it DON'T work when I press it and also the driver side too. but when I hold (5 sec) the open door remot keyless it roll down, and it auto roll up when I start the car. any1 know whats was the problem? any1 have this problem? Please help!! Thanks

Try re-intliazing the windows first!

I tired reconnect the battery and put in a new motor and new regulator and it the same. I can't do re-intliazing the windows cause the button don't work when i press on it.

I think you did all of this in vain. Re-initialize the switch buddy. Go to the driver's side and roll the window down and keep your finger on the switch for 20 seconds or so or the opposite way... can someone point him to the instructions for re-initialization for the anti-trap function please?
If you hold the remote and it rolls up and down before you replaced the regulator or motor then you know why I said the above....it obviously was not a regulator/motor issue!
The fact that neither the drivers or passenger switch works is because you're probably using it wrong. How long have you had this car and have you read the owner's manual?
And if you roll the windows down with the remote and they roll up when you start the car then your car's coding is a little "off" as this is not normal.

Hey guys, isn't there a child safety button/feature on the E60 (too lazy to go out to driveway to look !) it's beside the window open/close button, it stops kids opening the back windows, but if the button is turned on..the front ones wont open either.
