Happy New Year!

My front passenger window engages when the window is completely down. The weird thing is that it only happens when I open the windows via the key remote before I get on the car.

Has this happened to any of you? Is this related to the window motor or is this CIP related?

Thx!

Pretty easy to fix,

close all windows and hold switches a few seconds. Then open all the way and hold switches a few seconds again.
Or the other way around, can't remember if it mattered.

Should work..

Are you getting a "window anti-trap function" through I-drive?

I just got this message yesterday. Is there a way to cure/test this without going to the dealer?

Yep. As mentioned previously "close all windows and hold switches a few seconds. Then open all the way and hold switches a few seconds again." It fixed the problem for me.

i received that message a couple times last year before i knew about this forum. i just had the dealer take it off for me. there's no charge if that's what youre thinking about going to the dealer.
