My 545 is at the dealer right now with the exact same behavior.

It's been 2 months and SM 5121204, has fixed the anti-trap.
Not once has it happened since the hardware fix.

I am having this issue guys and my dealer is telling me he can't get me in for this until the last of August. I gave them a bad rating last time I got a call from BMW about my last service visit. Could this be why the wait or is this standard?

I now too have the window antirap on the rear left door after an upgrade to CIP 23... The "hold down the button" at bottom and top settings cures don't seem to be working.

Better Make Way - did you solve the problem in the end?

I had mine fixed a couple of years ago, but the window still does it from time to time. I've written it off as just another quirk.

Nope my friend. The dealer just reseted the error message without upgrading the cip. That i'm sure. Sometimes it starts to act crazy and even though the reset procedure aka "hold down and then up" doesn't give any results on the long term. I just gave up and everytime it does that i just bring the window up bit by bit without triggering the anti-trap. If there is somebody near me it's shamefull i must admit but i'm tired of it and i learnt to live with it.

So the warning message and the triangle warning light on the dashboard were reset and don't reappear? I can live with the window moving up bit by bit but getting the warning message every time I start the car is pissing me off. Like you I also don't fully trust the local dealers here and firmly believe the less they screw around with the car the better.
