Hi Guys,
Another problem: My windshield wipers started acting up. They would go up, then down, but would not stop in the "down" position, they would stop 2-3" on their way up again. Thinking this was a simple fix (maybe recalibrate the motor, or tighten a screw) I took it to the dealer. They gave my a 323i loaner, which sucks BTW. Next day, the SA calls me and tells me "the whole module" has to be replaced, and its backordered because of the weather. Anyways, I picked up my car ... man did I miss it, and I'm really glad I didn't buy a 3 series. So I asked the SA, how much would it cost if the warranty was expired ... get this $300 parts and labour for wipers that miss their "off position". Thats insane
Just thought I'd share
