Will Version 24 fix CD run on?

My Ride: 2005 545i step, nav, sport, 166 wheels, premium sound, don't need nothin' else.
Does anyone know if the latest software will fix the old CD "run on" after mute is selected or car is turned off? If not, when? Thanks,

Model Year: 2006
I did a software upgrade last week. CIP 24.xx or better say Target Status E060-06-12-510 which is the software version 510 for the E60 released on Dec 6th and it does not have the CD run on problem. It also fixes the eyebrow not lit problem (if you do have it).

I have the CD run-on problem, as well. I've read in several places that version 25 will be ready in March and will be "significant." Has anybody heard anything more specific than that, e.g. particular fixes that are included or perhaps a more specific release date? I have some other issues that 24.02 might fix, but I don't want to fix it now if it will take away my excuse to get v25 a month from now.

I'll be able to answer this question in a couple of days...this is the version I'm getting after I complained about the MP3 running after the car is shut off. The dealer claims this will fix it so we'll see...

You don't give your location or vehicle info. I've been dealing with this issue for 2+years. There always seems to be a fix with the 'next' software upgrade. Be patient.
I think I'll just wait for the March update. More waiting, ARRRGH!
