Does anyone know if the latest software will fix the old CD "run on" after mute is selected or car is turned off? If not, when? Thanks,

I did a software upgrade last week. CIP 24.xx or better say Target Status E060-06-12-510 which is the software version 510 for the E60 released on Dec 6th and it does not have the CD run on problem. It also fixes the eyebrow not lit problem (if you do have it).
I hope it helps.

The problem is NOT fixed.
Supposed to be fixed in March.
Thanks Iceman. I knew you'd have it. You are, always will be the "original" Iceman!

That's what makes this board the best. I post my problem, go to the can, and when I come back, presto! Answer! Thanks all for such a great forum. It has been a godsend for me and many many others.

I have the CD run-on problem, as well. I've read in several places that version 25 will be ready in March and will be "significant." Has anybody heard anything more specific than that, e.g. particular fixes that are included or perhaps a more specific release date? I have some other issues that 24.02 might fix, but I don't want to fix it now if it will take away my excuse to get v25 a month from now. ![Think](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/think.gif)

I'll be able to answer this question in a couple of days...this is the version I'm getting after I complained about the MP3 running after the car is shut off. The dealer claims this will fix it so we'll see...

You don't give your location or vehicle info. I've been dealing with this issue for 2+years. There always seems to be a fix with the 'next' software upgrade. Be patient. ![Doh](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/doh.gif)

I think I'll just wait for the March update. More waiting, ARRRGH!
