Will I appreciate the sport suspension?
To be honest, reading from the posts, it must be a specs difference between UK and US. Either that or people don't use runflats. The sports one i've test drove on 18" wheels was quite hard, not hard as my type-r but not far away either.
Either way, i think your best bet is to have a go at the different set ups and choose for yourself. Every one has his own standard of hard, soft and
driving style so it is better you decide which is more suitable.

I consider myself a fast driver but not a sporty driver. I drive fast in highways(my usual speed in the expressway is about 180 km/h) but I have never been in a race track. Will I appreciate the sport suspension, sport automatic transmission and sport steering wheel? And will the sport suspension absorb bumps properly?
You will be missing part of the "Total BMW Experience" though, a rather fun part I might add.
The suspension is awesome for everyday driving/fun, but too soft for the track IMO.
Probably need a nice upgrade for that.
there's nothing like hanging a right at 50mph........

Good point. Let me clarify: M-Sport suspension and NO RFT tires. That goes for both summer and winter wheels.
Definitely go sport suspension. Not only will make your car look more aggressive with the lowered look, you will get better handling even if you are just using it as a daily driver on the streets. Good luck!
