Hello, I am in the process of sorting out the gearbox on my 525d LCI, it’s slipping gears, clunking and doing all sorts of weird things under load. I am looking at getting a used gearbox and a new torque converter. I have read that the 530d LCI has a better and stronger gearbox. Is 530d LCI box a straight fit into 525d LCI ? Any coding required ? Or modifications ? Or anything at all that I should know about ?
