Don?t know how the engine in LCI 525d runs but the pre LCI did run very fine so the new one should be a little better!

From Saab to BMW Just like me! use to drive a Saab 9-5 aero wagon 2005 but have a Bmw 520d touring in order now! Think that I?m getting old! From 250hk to 163hk

Lucky you just 11days left I have 6 weeks left!

Well, after driving the new 525d for 3500 km, I dont want to get back to my Passat gasoline 1.8 Turbo with 205hp.

Smooth power, silent, and enough torque.
However, more hp are always welcome, so i might go for a chip to become even with a 530d (231 hp/500nm)

Overall, I give it a 8 out of 10 for power (530d = 9, 535d = 10), but a 10 out of 10 for running noise/comfort.

Its spec. at this point that a line 6 cil. pays off.

i have had the 525d and 525d lci : crashed the first one, just bought the new 3 litres engine lci one so i can compare.

I love the lci.
Sound; while driving the sound you hear inside the cockpit is not like a 525 i but its getting closer. Compared to the previous 2.5 litres its a more beautifull sound. You hear the engine and almost makes me think its a I car in stead of a diesel car. (inside the cockpit sound not outside the car sounds)

power: its faster now without any remap then my previous remapped 525d E60 car. You get the torgue faster. Lesser gap more faster response. I am very pleased.

For now i have no plans for a remap as i think its fast enough. Its a diesel car. I am faster then 80 procent of the cars on belgium roads. To beat the other 2O procent you need a gt3 so its not wurth the effort, time and money.

You can not drive fast anyway nowadays in belgium. Whats fun is the torgue. When you accelerate on highways when someone is pushing out of the way on 3th lane of the highway, when you put the dear down from 5th into 4th or 4th into 3th and put the pedal to the metal, even a 535D will have trouble keeping up with you and when he finaly gets you then you are driving 180 km/hour and that to fast to be responsibel anyway so its best to let him go, you had the fun, if you want to loose him you have to be prepared to drive 22O km/hour and accept the risk. Then you have the largest peni s but then your probably are a stupid mothe r fucker anyway
