Why is there units for pressure

I noticed that on the Idrive units setup screen, besides consumption, distance etc. there is also a choice of units for pressure.
If the RPA system does not report the actual pressure in the tires then why bother having the pressure units setting at all?

Nobody knows
It could be that the base software was developed when they still had the system that showed actual tire pressure, and they just have never taken that setting out

OK, thought I was missing something.
As everyone has said before, even if they cant give a pressure estimate if they could at least tell you which tyre has the puncture!!
