I think those reviewers do not even bother to take a quick peak
on iDrive before they put the car into first gear, and then decided
they need to make some adjustment, and of course it is diffcult.

Well, "haptics" is the cited technoloy - which is a small component of the iDrive experience. Still though, it shows that at least some portion of the iDrive is on their radar for being good.
