Why no ACC on Sport Models?

Almost completed my spec for my new 535d - but I would have really liked the Automatic Cruise Control for the motorway driving I do. I notice on the brochures that it's available for the SE model but not the Sport.

Any idea why, and whether this will change in the near future?

I recall having the option for mine. I wasn't interested because I never use regular CC even on long drives.

I'd guess it would be because the Sport body kit means that the space where the distance sensing module goes on the SE isn't the same, so it doesn't fit...

Based on the parts diagram that is in an earlier thread, there is a specific piece to fit over the ACC, but that was retrofit. I remember seeing some pictures with the Sport and ACC.

I've seen the sports kit with ACC. Looked kindof odd.
Not to get this one going again, but ACC is not a step up from CC. It's a whole other monster.. Great fun, but you'll loose the CC.
