I don't agree with you. Many technologies are design to help people drive (park) better. Every car company are working toward one goal, AUTO PILOT!! Self parking is just one step toward that goal.

I remember seeing that video about a year ago, which I believe is before Lexus launched this option. Anyway, I could care less who has this feature first.
