Why is the 2010 nav Disc on 2 disc's?

I just got the 2010 discs too and was wondering why there is two DVD's vs my old single DVD. No big deal though. Be nice to have it on a DL DVD. Hey Im not complaining i got them for $50 with the red light cam and speed cam poi's. Just glad to not see cow fields popping up everywhere when i drive.

One reason is I thought that BMW swapped Map providers...that could be a reason more data/waypoints. I might be wrong though.
