Before doing my CIC retrofit, I want to make sure that all software on my 2006 is up to date. Should I be concerned that I have a BMS PowerBox installed? They are not going to do some ECU re-flashing are they?

Thanks!

Called the shop to confirm my appointment. I told the tech about the PowerBox. He said it seems much more involved and to take the car to the dealer. sigh....
I'm thinking he probably changed his mind because a lot can happen in programming that the flat rate of $250 he was charging me my not be worth it.

Can't you put it in bypass like the JB4 or just simply remove it?

Yeah I disabled it. But the tech didn't want to take the chance. Also, I was too lazy to take it out.
