Back in 11-14-2011 I reported 154K. A little over a year later, I'm pushing 190K on the ole V8. She smokes a bit after an extended idle (valve stem seals), I have a tranny front seal leak (I thought the tranny was going out. Needed 3 quarts but shifts like butter again), she pisses oil like she's on a diuretic, and she has a few nics here n there but...damnit if I don't still love seeing her. Wife shot me down on the E63 last year. Long story, but I won't have that problem the next inquiry on an E63 :-)

178,000 mi 286,000km
Just passed 178,000 mi 286,000km and started having some problems. Oil and coolant leaks. Just spent $4500. Now my idrive is acting up. Blank screen flickers on and off.

My Ride: Jet Black 530i with some mods
04 530i with 195xxx miles, and really running great. This has been the longest I've held on to a car.. But I can't justify replacing it at this point. It's not worth anything due to the high miles, and I still enjoy driving it.. So I'm gonna keep it until it dies.. I wonder if I can get to 300k with the same motor and tranny. We'll see..
