My question is this: Where do you keep the ipod. I find that when you keep it in the center down there, there's really not much room for anything else. I would love to find an identical cable just a bit longer. That seems to be one solution but I cant find it. Anyone have a solution?

 

I keep my Touch the center console on my 2008. You are right, no room for anything else. But then I never use the center console for storage so it has never bothered me. Frankly, the phone cradle set up in the console kills it in terms of the center console every really being useful storage space. I tried to remove it on my 2004 without success (guess I didn't try that hard! ) and haven't bother to try on the 2008 as it is a lease...
