I was driving the other day with music and A/C on. First gear, I rode it up to about 5000 rpm and heard this loud whining noise. Second gear, same thing, third gear same thing. I turned off my music and still heard it. rolled down my windows and I heard it. Turned off the A/C, it's gone. Is it the A/C noise???

What year/model is your car? How many miles? Is it a whine or a squeal? It might just be a loose belt. I would check that first. But if it is a whine it could be the A/C.
Good Luck.
