Does anybody know where is Bpillar airbag module located in 2006 E60 pre lci?
I just can't find it anywhere nothing under pillars nothing under seats and centre console where is it? and how many of them 1 or 2? see picture attached of bpillar module. according to WDS it should be under pillar but it is not there

 

As far as I know there should be only one Airbag module and it is located under the center console almost under the carpet. The center console has to be removed, if you remove the vents from the back of the console maybe you can see it. Go to real oem and look it up.

 

I am aware about airbag module under centre console it looks different to that one on the picture. this one is called bpillar module should be 2 of them according to wds it should be under pillar but on my car under pillar is only a crash sensor see pics. also on realoem you can find bpillar part 4

I think I have a clue. Earlier pre LCI models have 2 airbag modules 1 on each side under pillar with pillar sensors integrated in module . after 09/2005 BMW has redesigned its airbag electrics with only one airbag module relocated under centre console while pillar sensors left in same place
