Wheel shakes when I tap on the brake

replace your rotors or file down the outer and inner lip.

I got the same problem! New pads, rotors, alignment, still the same. I got 96k miles. Does anyone know if it's my control arm bushing?

I have the same problem, took mine to bmw they said the thrust rod bushing/ control arm is bad. So it may be that also.

+1 on this, I had the same problem. My wife have one of the Indy changed the pads and the rotors (twice), still shook like hell when brake applied. I then decided to change the both calipers front (by myself, if you want it done right, do it yourself), now braking is normal. If i believe so, whoever did your brake bend one of the guide pin ( I could be wrong, so to be safe, I change both calipers). Good luck.
