I have a new LCI 550i w/sport pckg. Turning left at speeds less than

25 mph produces an intermittent low pitched whine from the front

axle area. The noise can be attenuated or stopped w/ light pressure

to the brakes. Help.

Try some hard break sequences to "clean" the brake rotor. If it didn't work you must get a new brake pad from warranty.

This was just one of many symptoms I had when my brakes were making noise. Passport replaced them and my car has been silent since September. I presume since you're close by you might be a Passport customer also?

Interesting, have noticed this on my 550 as well. Only started recently and I had not determined if it was the brakes or the steering...
