My Ride: 02/2006 525i Titanium Silver Metallic Manual 6-Speed
Default

06 525i - K&N air filter, and Charcoal filter removed.

My car is a stick, so it is kind of hard not to drive it like you stole it... All the time... I love accelerating hard up to highway speeds.

But other than that, I try to shift @ 3K RPM.

I've been getting an avg mpg of 22.8 city/highway mix... Sure it could be better, but I love driving it like I don't care.

2008 535i

Right now I get 13.5L/100km for mixed driving (more city driving) but if I drive to Toronto at say 130km/h, I get 10L/100km. So now I wonder is the car optimized to drive at 130km/h?

Just got the car, so not a lot of historical data but after the 200 mile trip home yesterday -

2008 535i 6speed

Cruising speed ranged from 70-90mph, got a bit above that a few times passing. Avg 26.1 mpg.

Just had my most expensive ever Super+ 98 Octane fill-up (computer said I only had 35 miles range left, so pretty empty).

?94.50 = £83.80 = $138.11

2006 530i (Automatic trans)
On highways I get about 29 to 30 MPG (with cruise control set 65 to 70 MPH)
For city/highway mixed driving, I get about 24 MPG.
