I want to know what kind of miles per gallon most E60 owners are getting out of their cars.
Ive owned E39s v8s and never really cared for gas mileage. but i just want to see if my car is
getting poor mpgs or what!

2005 545iA (A is for automatic lol)

14.5 mpg (city driving with stop signs every 10 feet in bay area)

27.9mpg Local.
45.0mpg Motorway driving.

 

I just completed a round-trip from NJ to the Atlanta area - including a side trip to the BMW Greenville SC plant and Zentrum. I set my car's trip computer at the outset and snapped this record after 1800+ miles of driving. I'm pretty OK with the overall fuel economy given that my average speed was 63.5 mph; That included lots of miles at 75+mph and a few local miles and a fair share of stop and go traffic. For the record: '07 530xi/automatic w/ 48K+ miles A/C on "auto".

 

I have a brick foot and average 12.9MPG. I drive in DS the majority of the time. I do Live in L.A. so most of my driving is done in stop and go traffic!

 

i drive mostly in the 5 boroughs and the last time i checked i had average 13.1 MPG (2007 550i SMG)

On average i get about 23.8 mpg on a one way daily drive consisting of 32 miles highway and about 3 miles city.
