225 km/h before I got some traffic ahead and had to take my foot off the accelerator.
I got caught speeding in May this year for the first time ever. Doing 130 km/h where it's 110 km/h. It was entering the highway close to where I live and overtook some slower cars. The highway turns and when it opens upp there is a bridge accross the higway where the police were sitting in a van. A motorcycle police stopped me a bit later. I pass that bridge everyday when I drive to work and now I'm very careful watching my speed as I pass there.

I have done 151mph in a 2005 330Cd M sport, not bad for a Diesel (205bhp)
.
I have just bought a 530d M sport (241bhp i think), waiting to try it out.
Beautiful car to drive, also get 40+ mpg(uk) on a run.

For a Diesel... the 530d is awesome, and the 535d is no worse ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)
Diesel is the way to go these days.... i know the speedo is a lot off when over the 260kmh, but i've taken mine to c.a. 2mm differ from the number 1 on the fuel dial....
Wish i could say 280kmh, but then i would be lying...
They'll give me my licence back 15th of January, and at that time its too cold to speed in Iceland, i'll try to get a GPS reading on it someday...

Top speed was 186mph on the A9 Autobahn between Munich and Berlin. That was in a super-tuned Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo in 1996.
Top speed in a Beemer is 158mph in my current ride about two weeks ago.
