19.2 for me at 900 miles ODO. It's low because the stupid "break-in process" I'm following BMW. No more break-ins from here on. I'll start a new topic on the logic of why I don't think BMW cars need to the "break-in" process.

I have been recording my gas mileage both manually and as indicated on the computer for about 15,000 miles. The following graph shows both my manual computation, and the computers computed gas mileage versus the average speed. The average speed and gas mileage are indicated by the trip computer, and I reset them every time I fill up.

I took a trip from Phoenix to Colorado Springs and back, a total of about 1750 miles. A good mix of high-speed highway cruising and twisty-turny mountain roads. I got 29.7 mpg, as reported by the car...

Mixed driving - 0,9-1,1 l/10km
Inspired driving - 1 l/10km
Highway driving - 0,8 l/10km

Consumption can during the winter be slightly higher.

Sorry if this is a repost.? The gas price is sky rocketing now, it will be nice if we konws how many miles we can get for a gallon.? For other countries, how many kilometer per liter.?

I have about 700 miles on my 530i now.? The on-board computer shows 20.6 miles per gallon.? I drive about 70 Highway/30 Local.? Hoping it can reach to 25-30 mpg in the future.? ?

You don't know how lucky you are. We in the UK pay around ?.92 ($1.64) for petrol (gas) and ?.94 ($1.68) for diesel. Oh and that's per litre!

So, 1 US Gallon costs us ?3.49 ($6.23) for petrol and ?3.56 ($6.36) for a gallon of diesel.

Of all the punitive costs levied on the UK driver, I'd love the US to adopt the higher cost of using certain roadways during rush hour. That was brilliant. I'm sure your petrol prices deter useless trips as well. There's way too much traffic where I am.

I get 25-27 MPG. Computed in a spreadsheet.
