Sorry if this is a repost. The gas price is sky rocketing now, it will be nice if we konws how many miles we can get for a gallon. For other countries, how many kilometer per liter.
I have about 700 miles on my 530i now. The on-board computer shows 20.6 miles per gallon. I drive about 70 Highway/30 Local. Hoping it can reach to 25-30 mpg in the future.

I got my car last week, currently at 977 miles and I am averaging 25.8 MPG. Although most of those miles was my drive back from South Carolina. Well see how it changes now that I am mostly city driving.

I have 970 miles. 70% highway, 30% city.
Average is 20.2 mpg.
I have done 27mpg on the open highway.
I feel this is excellent for an 8. If you don't think so, check out any of the M45 boards. Some of those folks can't get higher than 17 mpg combining city and highway driving.

I only have 1400 miles on, but so far I've been averaging about 16 MPG. My foot is 
heavy
It's a bunch better than my Range Rover though, that thing sucks gas like a 747.

My experience is when the car gets older, between 40000 to 80000 miles, you can get the highest mile per gallon out of it.
