I think I have 2, first is

Dynamic drive, it really works and makes this car handle like something half it's size.

Second is

Heated Steering Wheel, it's probably was the least essential thing on my car when I ordered but I seem to have it on all the time, it's just great
Hi, I have heated steering wheel and side mirrors, any idea how they work. Just got the car and still checking it out.

thanks

Don't have the heated steering wheel but check out the manual for details. Should be an on/off switch on the steering column, maybe near the position adjustment switch... As I recall, the side mirror automatically defosts below a certain temp. In over 4 years of owning 2 E60's, can't say I've ever seen it activated though, global warming and all!

The eight short cut buttons for i-Drive.

Before I bought my car, I thought that i-Drive was the biggest piece of junk ever created...

Yes you do, RTFM!!! They are on the center cash area. I will say that I have had my '08 (US MY) since early November and have yet to program a short cut button...
