It seems less by going about 170 miles then filling up...

22mpg, 36000 miles, 70/30 highway/city, average speed 39MPH.

I can get 24mpg if not for my heavy foot and launches.

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i

'04 530i, 91 octane, a dismal 14-16mpg.

But I am loving the 28-30mpg on highway at 80+mph.

I do city driving only, lots of short drives too.

My Ride: 550i 2009 Mod. with tints all around. Got Splitter and Spoiler coming. May do an exhaust.

I am with Howitzer on this one. Winter time cold weather, town and park and a little on the Highway with the Triponic I get 18. If I just drive with a feather light foot and do not let the match gas Needle suck up to the right side, she might get 22-25,but I really believe a driver has to let the engine get into a groove and not stand on it for several fill ups so the engine knows its magic carpet time. Then it might get 20-25, but that really to me la la land!
