What are those 5 LED's
These 5 led's are suppose to light up the amber strip just above the head lamps and wrap around above the turn signals

Yup, they are supposed to be on. Your previous CIP update has deactivated them (big program bug). You just need to go to the dealer and ask them to give you the most update CIP and they will be back alive again.
CIP update??? Hmmmm. Thanks. I was going in anyway but how would these be indepandent of the regular lighting??

Cat eye's (as the dealer called them) Have been draining peoples battery's. Hence they were disconnected via software i believe ver. 19.
Apparently everythings has been updated so now i need to go to the dealer and let the carr set a whole day for programming. Thanks for the help folks.

These are not actually independent of your regular lighting - the LED's and the "eyebrows" light up when you turn your lights on (or when they come on in auto mode). However, there have been issues with some of the CIP/Progman upgrades, which have left them disabled. If you switch on your headlamps, and these lights do not light up, I would suggest that your CIP is the culprit and see about a further upgrade.

Not sure I buy the dealer's explanation as they only come on when the car is running and the headlights are on.
I'd guess all 10 would pull about 40-50 mA.
Oh I agree. But not knowing the real deal i will be asking for the correct answer. Apparently it's more the software that was causing the problem rather that the lights themselves.
