Yes my car is pre LCI and I have my halogen centers turned on for DRLs I wish it was my angel eyes that were my DRLs anyone know how to convert my angel eyes to also be my DRLs?

Bruce, how about a cable for pre LCI users to convert their angel eyes to DRL's?

If it has halogen inner bulbs then they are the main beam and the car is equiped with xenon lights not bi-xenon(where the xenon lamp is used for both dipped and high beam). The DRL that pre LCIs used in the inner lens should be a big round bulb(that doesnt illuminate the road like a normal headlight) not a halogen and i think only came with bi-xenon equiped cars.

From the BMW Innovations webpage appended, it appears that the lights do swivel
http://www.bmw.co.za/products/automobiles/.../headlights.asp

Light up the bends.
Adaptive Headlights.
The law of physics states that light travels in a straight line, and whilst BMW is unable to change this immutable fact of nature, it's true to say that the BMW driver can now see more than many other motorists. This is due to the introduction of an intelligent system in light technology - a revolutionary innovation the world over which allows the driver to literally light up the bends ahead.

Featuring variable headlight control, Adaptive Light technology anticipates in advance which direction the driver is taking and swivels the moving vario-xenon-module headlights in the appropriate direction. Unlike conventional headlights which only follow the steering wheel or the position of the front wheels, intelligent light control illuminates the road ahead even before you enter a curve or take a bend.

This is made possible by a system of sensors and computers which use the car's steering angle, road speed and lateral acceleration to recognise changes in course even before they happen. Adaptive Light Control even employs data from the in-vehicle satellite navigation system to ensure optimum illumination of the road ahead in every situation.
I suspect you're a bit behind in the details here -- the adaptive headlights do swivel (outer bulbs) but the cornering lights (inner bulbs) do not.
