I read where they ran out of harnesses just before they built TMs car. Had to sub an Toyoto harness and found that pigtail with no where ot ternimate.

My Ride: 04 545i sport, stick, L7, sat, nav. Charcoal/ runflat/ cdv delete.
Suede headliner/ trunk, 3 way front speakers, four 8" subs in rear shelf, ACM, iPod dock in ash tray using gateway 500 with MP3 text and video on screen, MRTM aluminum pedals/ door pins, 10 farad cap, sound processor, line conditioner, 2 amps ( 4x100 and 2x200)

I am going with SAT prep. ( Sirius satellite radio antenna and most/pwr plug ) I have a 2010 I am working on over here with both SAT prep and what I think might be the compensator for the TCU.

Could be SAT prep but it's hard to tell for sure from the picture. From what I can see, they don't look much like the wires for Sirius shown in this thread:

Good point, the satellite plug would have dual antenna cables ( unless the 06+ sat tuner uses a single antenna now ). It could be the IBOC diversity tuner though.
